Gulf Shores Hotels on the Beach

These Gulf Shores Hotels are located on Perdido Beach Blvd., on the Gulf side.  Some of these rooms will have a beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico and some may not.  However, they will all be a little pricier than those located across the street or out on Hwy 59.  I have stayed at or been to most all of these hotels, however they are listed in no particular order or ranking.

Beach Side Resort Hotel

Actually, this hotel is across the street from the beach so just know that.  There are some rooms that have a beach view so try to request those.  I like many others have mixed reviews here.  This is a huge Spring Break Hotel, so if you are bringing family during those times I would venture elsewhere.  It is out on West Beach which I like, it cuts down a little on traffic.  It has it’s own pool for those who do not like the sand.  For the price and convenience it is probably worth the risk if you need to be able to walk to the beach.

Best Western on the Beach

Hotel is a touch dated but renovations have helped.  This is right on the beach so know you are going to pay for that.  Very fair price for that location.  Only complaint I would have is no free breakfast, that is a big deal when traveling with my family.  Nice hotel and again, the best location.

Because this list is small I have decided to add a few condo type resorts I would recommend.  Condos typically have more restrictions or requirements when it come to reservations, however they may loosen up during the off season and offer some units that may not require a certain length stay.  It is certainly worth checking out as these resorts are located on some prime real estate.

I have not stayed in these and units are individually owned  so they will each have their own character.  Certainly worth checking out.
